Polair Air Pipe & Clip Supports:
Polair Air
Pipe and metals have different
physical and mechanical properties.
It is essential that polymer pipes
are installed in a manner best
suited to them. The table above
recommends the maximum distance
between support centres to avoid
long term sagging.
For vertical pipes this distance may
be increased by 50%.
Polair Air Pipe Information
- Made to Australian Standards AS 4130 (polyethylene pipe for pressure applications).
- Meets Australian WorkSafe requirements and Mining Safety Engineering Standards.
- Manufactured from premium quality polyethylene and is classed PE80 PN16 B which is the only polyethylene that can have a UV stabiliser added to prevent UV degradation.
- Manufactured in straight 6 metre lengths, coloured light blue which is the International Industry Standard colour for pipes & conduits conveying compressed air.
- Non-toxic & Non-corrosive, can deliver food and breathing quality air.
- Very economical, significant savings on copper and galvanised steel pipe.
- Light weight, making installation and routing very easy.
- Easy to install and work with, requires no specialised tools.
- Highly impact resistant, giving a long and durable working life.
- Has a very smooth bore, reducing friction loss & the ability to use a smaller diameter.
- Has a low thermal co-efficientt, meaning less condensation build up inside the pipe.
- Has a minimum 50 year working lifespan in most circumstances.
- Has a 50 year warranty against faulty workmanship.
- UV stabilised and can take direct sunlight.
Polair air pipe was designed specifically for the reticulation of compressed air
