At HDR Workshop Solutions we live and breathe functional, fit-for-purpose workshops. We are end-to-end experts; helping you design, build and maintain safe, profitable and hassle-free workshops that actually work for your business.
Who is HDR?
The 1990s was a decade of firsts. It was the decade we were graced with the world wide web, text messaging and DVDs. But it was also the decade HDR Workshop Solutions was established.
In the early days, the company focused on providing repair and preventative maintenance services for the industrial, mining and agricultural industries.
At the time, the team found there was a real need for regular maintenance and breakdown support in the automotive industry.
So, we decided to change the direction of the business in response to this growing demand. More than 30 years on, we are committed to the motor industry.
We spend a lot of time inside the workshops of our clients. Quickly, we learnt the very real need for well-designed workshops. Over time, we have witnessed the detrimental effects of a poorly designed workshop and a one-size-fits-all approach.
So, the team at HDR Workshop Solutions set about to bring change to the way workshops are designed and built.
It was at this time we decided to become more hands on in the design phase to help our clients in the future. The team spent countless hours reviewing and observing workshops to try and determine the difference between effective and ineffective workshops. We uncovered many of the basic rules we still apply to workshop planning.
